Every year 24^th September is celebrated as NSS day. This year on 22^nd to 24^th September, 2019 Gujarat State NSS day celebrated at Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar. Our NSS wing participated in NSS day celebration. Total 12 NSS volunteers (8 boys and 4 girls) of College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry actively took part in various events along with Dr. V.D. Dodiya, Team Manager organized at Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar. On 22^nd September, 2019 the programme started by 10 Am. in the presence of Shri Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, Hon’ble Minister Education, Government of Gujarat. Total 20 events were organized during the three day celebration programme. Volunteers from various universities/colleges of entire state participated in it. Our volunteers took part in Essay writing, Debate, Mono acting, Solo song,   Power point presentation, Rangoli, Poster painting competition’s etc. Shruti Vanpariya won 1^st prize in Mono acting, Vishvas Gohil won 1^st prize and Brijesh Patel won 3^rd prizes in Essay writing competition and Jay Joshi won 3^rd prize in Solo song. All four volunteers of NSS unit, College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, JAU, Junagadh took the stage to receive the award, and proud moment to remember.  Dr. A.R. Tank, Prinicpal & Dean, College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, JAU, Junagadh congratulated all the award winners of various competitions and also appreciated the effort made by Dr. V. D. Dodiya, Team Manager and  Dr. R.J. Raval, NSS officer of NSS unit, College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, JAU, Junagadh.
